What up Players!

Over the last little bit we've been working on getting some new development work done for new features we want to add to the server, we've got big things planned that I don't want to give away just yet, but the first of these updates is out now on our store!

That is, Pixel Tokens!

What is a Pixel Tokens you ask? Well, these are!

613147d41681bacd8e423638bba77197.png

If you head over to our store (store.pokeplay.io) you'll now see a section for tokens where you'll be able to grab yourself a shiny token, gender token, growth token, nature token, Pokeball token, color name token, and even a reset EV token.

Each one of these tokens can edit one of your pokemon for you, so, for example, the shiny token will convert any pokemon you wish into a shiny. Or the nature token will set the nature of your pokemon to the one you wish.

To use these tokens or to see if you have any tokens to you, you simply go on the server and use the command /tokens to open up the GUI and check it out yourself!

I feel like this would just allow people to buy shiny tokens like crazy and just turn all their legendaries with good ivs to shinies...
I don't see a problem with that? If they wish to spend money on that, they may very well do so, it's their money and their decision to make. Shinies doesn't change or have any impact on how the Pokemon performs in battle, it's there for the aesthetics, and the fact of having a Shiny Legendary, or any pokemon at that, for collection purposes or other factors, having a shiny legendary doesn't affect how good you are battle wise.

First things first, No one is pressuring anyone into spending money on the store, this was just an idea we implemented after hard work at it, those who wishes to spend their money, can do so however they wish, and it's not any one else's choice but theirs.
Secondly, You can reset your Pokemon's Evs no matter if you have /evs or not, It will simply set the Evs to 0, and allow you to train your pokemon with the correct Evs by simply battling the correct Pokemon and keeping track of what you have and have not done, for example, here's the link to Selina's post on Evs and Ivs in detail without the Donor commands which can be found Right here (click here) and scrolling down.
Lastly, This was in the works and a planned out thought for a while, which we have now finished after hard work at it, which case, there's a lot more priority plans than simply "finish hunt in Johto Hoenn" as that actually requires a lot more work than you believe, and have a lot more at our hands than to do that at this current stage, this wasn't something unimportant, but something we put effort into and wanted to share with all of you.

Hey, not to be a nuisance, but some of these points don't really have any real reason behind them. (In my own eyes that is.)

First of all, hunt obviously isn't a very big priority on Blade's list. If it was, he would have gone ahead and done it already.. (However, I obviously don't have a confirmed answer for this as I dont get any information about this kind of stuff as I am just a player and not staff)

Secondly, the EV Reset token doesn't seem unfair.. It doesn't tell the player the Ev's of the players Pokemon, players can find out if a Pokemon has maxed out EV's if they try use an item like Carbos, Iron etc on their Pokemon and it not work due to the Pokemon EV's being maxed out. These EV Reset Tokens, completely wipe the EV stats from the pokemon you apply the token to, allowing you to rebuild the certain Pokemons EV's.

And for your first point, are you saying this is just another way to get money from players? If so, they don't just take players money. Players donate a certain amount (for a specific item) and in return for helping the server by helping fund it, you get an item, worth approximately the same amount as the player has donated.

You can also just walk around the world for awhile, first of all exploring, secondly you can find Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Hondew, Grepa, and Tamato berries which each have unique effects which can decrease an EV by 10 depending on the varient, the order I put them in ranges from hp to speed if anyone reading needs it.
